Where were you yesterday?
Thursday 15 November marked the return of the annual TSAM networking event at the Hynes Convention Center in Midtown Boston, featuring a host of expert speakers across the global asset management sector.
The jam-packed 1-day event launched with unmissable keynotes, starting with State Street Global Advisors’ Dominica Ribeiro. The Head of Institutional Marketing, North America took to the stage to reveal more about the provocative diversity campaign in the shape of the Fearless Girl statue. (Did you know this campaign was intended to last for just 2 weeks? True story.)
The second morning keynote brought us into the AI revolution, guided by Al Naqvi, the President and Professor at the American Institute of Artificial Intelligence. The future of FinTech is here and, while there may be challenges and confusion about how firms can roll forward with the latest technological advances, there is Deep Learning available for us humans, not just the machines.
Watch our exclusive onsite interviews with Dominica Ribeiro and Al Naqvi coming soon.
The full day’s agenda included a variety of interactive panels, inspiring presentations, and audience discussion groups across 6 streams, with hot topics like:
- Transforming the Client Reporting & Communications Function into a Profit Generator
- Data as a Service (DaaS) for Front to Back (F2B) Solutions
- Quality vs. Quantity: Achieving the Right Balance in Content Marketing
- Regulatory Pressure on Sustainability
- GIPS – 20/20 Standards, Systems, Verifications & More
- A Technology & Operational Transformation Journey
…and many more!
To keep the dialogue going, there were refreshment breaks, lunch, and networking drinks throughout the day – the ideal opportunity to rub shoulders with the speakers in person, chat to industry peers, and meet with a wide range of our event sponsors, like Seismic, Appatura, FactSet, Clearwater, State Street, Smonik Systems, and Peregrine Communications, to learn more about their solutions and services.
