The investment industry has been faced with significant regulatory change since the financial crisis, elevating the role of compliance functions within asset management organizations and placing ever greater demands on them.

10 years on from the crisis, the inexorable rise of the compliance function shows no signs of abating with regulatory bodies across the globe continuing to introduce new standards for asset managers. Ahead of TSAM New York 2018 Congress and Expo, we surveyed risk management and compliance officers, and other senior professionals from our network to explore the evolving role of compliance within asset management organizations, the regulatory landscape and what the future holds.

We hope you find this study of interest and would welcome your feedback and observations.
